What skills or lessons have you learned recently?
I’m at the start of the my latest solo travel that I am hoping to document in great detail, I am refining the things that I already know about travelling.
- Get to the airport early so if you don’t have a transit visa or your bags are overweight you have time to adjust yourself
- Always have some cash. We know there’s a war on cash and we can feel like it’s not relevant anymore but it is. Wether for tips or bribes if you are travelling in tip/bribe required places
- Learn to pack light. I have not perfected this skill but it’s a good skill to have because it avoids a lot of the stress you may meet at the airport
- Always I mean always have enough funds incase you need to change your ticket, stay in a hotel or if you see something you simply must buy
- Don’t panic. I know it’s easier said than done but whatever situation you find yourself in panicking will not make that any better.
